It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Edwards Ray of Smithfield, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fitzhugh Edwards and Hattie Edwards of Smithfield, VA.; and her husband Theodore B. Ray. She is survived by: her sons, Rodney W. Ray of Smithfield, VA and Brian P. Ray of New Braunfels; her grandson Kenneth P. Ray (Erika); and her great grandchild Patrick A. Ray of Miami, FL. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
