She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friend Pamela Jean Cason Amburgey; her parents, Claire Cason and Jimmy Cason; her children, Courtney Amburgey Corboy (Emmett) and Kaytlyn Amburgey (Chuck); her grandchildren, Amber and Emmett II; her former husband John Wayne Amburgey; her siblings, Rhonda Whitley (Mark) and Randy Cason (Sarah); her aunt Carol; and her siblings' children, Kyle, Sarah, Amy, Benji, Jaycee and Marshall.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Smithfield Baptist Church (100 Wainwright Dr, Smithfield, VA 23430). Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Doorways, an organization that lovingly supported Pam's family during her transplant journey, allowing them to remain near VCU Health throughout her care.
