She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Wylie Alexander Young and Frances Delbridge Young; her husband James Russell Hawthorne; and her children, Frances Blackwell Hawthorne of Kenbridge, Russell Alexander "Al" Hawthorne of Winters and John Jeffries "Jeff" Hawthorne of Concord, NC. She was also cherished by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
