It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Newcomb Powell of South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her children, Andrea Marie Wilson of Little Rock, Matthew C. Wilson (Karen) of Little Rock and Robert L. Powell (Peggie) of South Hill; her sister Rebecca N. Bevell of Goldsboro, N. C.; her grandsons, Isaac and Alec Wilson of Little Rock; and her sister-in-law Odelle P. Allen (Lofton) of Emporia.
