We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2024, at the age of 85, Charlie Earl Rook (South Hill, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Ashby Rook, Pender Rook, Elax Rook, Mabel Reeves and Vatania Larrimore.

He is survived by : his children, Charlie Earl Rook, Jr. (Missy) of Emporia, Walter B. Rook (Kristi) of Bracey, Tony W. Rook of Emporia, Diana R. Davis of Goldsboro, Carol R. Thomas (Ricky) of Gumberry, N. C. and Elsie R. Tanner (Russell) of Nashville, N. C.; his sister Shirley Horne of Roanoke Rapids, N. C.; and his granddaughter Stephanie Rook Williams. He is also survived by Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Amedisys Hospice, 920 S. Main St, Blackstone, VA 23824.
