He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Scott and Ada Bell Scott; his daughter Elaine; and his siblings-in-law, Solomon Williams, Elizabeth Johnson (David), Lucille Thomas (Amos), Pearl Williams, Gloria Shamberger (Hollis), Sarah Ellison, Otelia Williams and Gracie Duke. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Harold's cognitive status began to decline which he was later diagnosed having Alzheimer's disease.
