He was predeceased by : his parents, Elder Levi and Lillie Ann Scales; his wife Brenda Carolyn Scales; and his son Johnny Scales. He is survived by : his siblings, Deacon Obediah Scales of Sandy Ridge, NC, Deacon Vester Scales of Martinsville, Jill Thomas of Sandy Ridge, NC and Lillie Aldean Scales of Sandy Ridge, NC. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives, church members, and friends.
