He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Noeddie, Macy Bowman, Akers and Beulah Handy; and his nephew Eric Samuel Rorrer.

He is survived by : his wife Martha Coleman Bowman; his children, Amber Bowman Biggs (Jesse) of Stuart and Matthew Bowman; his grandson Avery Torres; and his siblings, Lisa Buckner (Todd) of Stuart and John Collins (Jeannie) of Stuart. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved cat.
