He is survived by : his mother Sharon Copening Scales; his wife Kimberly Lawson Scales; his children, Alexia Odberg, Layla Scales, Jayna Hagwood, Lyric Whisenton and Raquish Marshall; and his siblings, Jolethe Copening, Latoyal Hairston and Junior "B. J.".
