He was predeceased by : his parents, Evelyn "Maw" Hedrick and Fred; and his siblings, Clint Nelson and Dolly Cooper. He is survived by : his close friend Babs Armentrout of Spotsylvania; his sons, Thom Armentrout (Zachary) of Stafford, Tim Armentrout (Laura) of Spotsylvania and Bill Armentrout of Spotsylvania; his grandsons, Riley Armentrout, Mason Armentrout and Wyatt Armentrout; and his siblings, Neil Armentrout, Freddie Armentrout, Monroe Armentrout, Ronnie Armentrout, Junior Hedrick, Scott Hedrick and Molly Teter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Support Care, 2300 Fall Hill Ave, Suite 401, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
