He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Deigh Jewell (Dennis Kearns) and James "Jimmy" Jewell; his granddaughter Laini Hines; his great grandchildren, Darby Kellison and Kaleb Jeffrey; his parents, Alice Jewell and George Jewell; his siblings, Howard, Robert, Horace, Harvey, Rosie, Billy, Woodrow, Preston, Mary, Willie, Arthur and Lena; and his grandson-in-law Joseph Hines. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
