She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Elmer Knighton; and her brothers, Mack Bridges and Garrison Bridges. She is survived by: her son Roger Alan Knighton (Debra) of Charlottesville; her sisters, Wanda Hinkle of Baltimore and Dorothy Godette of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Joseph Alexander Knighton and Michael Alan Knighton.
