He is survived by : his sons, Charles Nicholas Whisman (Seidy Lainez) of Charlottesville and Nathaniel Scott Whisman of Fishersville; his adoptive son Matthew Colbert of Staunton; his sister Lorraine "Lori" Annette Caldwell (Whisman) of Stuarts Draft; his uncles, Marcus "Mike" Gilbert (Dorothy) of Waynesboro and Ronnie Whisman (Sue) of Staunton; his nieces, Hannah Lucas (James) and Emily Kling (Kyle); and also Cynthia Roberts Moore of Fishersville.
