She was predeceased by: her husband Amos Irvin Breeden of Staunton; her parents, Jacob Derr Shiflett and Martha Ella Shiflett (Strickler); her siblings, Jake Shiflett, Joe Shiflett and Mary Cale (Shiflett); her granddaughter Martha "Boo" Root; and her great grandchild Alexis Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Rooney (Breeden) of Mt. Solon; her brothers, Frank Shiflett of Middlebrook, Charlie Shiflett of Staunton and Marshall Shiflett of Staunton; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Cason (Amy), Kristina Constantin and Amber Heldibridle (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Racheal, Casey, Thomas, Gabrielle, Steven "Austin", Chelsea, Jayden, Alexsandra, Lucas and James.
