He is survived by: his spouse Sara Carrizales; his parent Pauline Ruby Shelton (Porter); his nephew Brandon Brasuel; his children, Santos Carrizales, Megan Carrizales, Marquis Veney, Tara Carrizales and Anthony Higgins; his grandchildren, Carson Higgins and Brieanna Veney; and his sister Paula Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
