Linda Diane Fravel Racey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Diane Fravel Racey of Strasburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Diane Fravel Racey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Will and Pauline Sine Fravel; and her brothers, Robert Fravel (Bob), Roland Fravel Jr. (Bill), Paul Fravel and Jeffrey Fravel.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Lee Racey; her sons, James Halterman (Jennifer) of Quicksburg and John Halterman (Dawn) of Woodstock; her grandchildren, Heather Hodson, Emily Halterman, Alexis Halterman, Jacob Halterman, Justin Halterman, Noella Manns, Bradley Boyce and Tanner Boyce; and her great grandchildren, Tinleigh Halterman and Christian Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Service (14116 S Middle Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church Cemetery (15737 Back Rd, Strasburg, VA 22657).
