He is survived by: his wife Geneva Austin Spence; his daughter Patricia Dalton; his son-in-law Andrew Dalton of Stuart; his son Charlie Lee Spence of Walnut Cove, NC; his grandchildren, Maggie Houchins (Michael), Andrea Dalton (Bryan Gilley), Patrick Dalton and Cristina Danielf; his great grandchild Lyric Houchins; and his siblings, Gracie Sigmon of Bassett, Josie Bowman of Stuart, Virginia Brown of Lexington, NC and Raymond Spence of Colorado.
