He is survived by: his wife Karen Roberson Burnette; his daughters, Amy Burnette of Raleigh and Sarah Burnette of Mooresville; and his siblings, Talmadge Burnette, Sr. (Karen) of Hendersonville, Richard Burnette (Bonnie) of Hilton Head, SC and Nancy Burnette Fowler (Hank) of Naples, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625; or a charity of the donor's choice.
