He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Raymond Adkins, Sr. and Elizabeth Haynes Adkins; his daughter Kimberly Dawn Adkins; his son-in-law Emmanuel "Terry" Lawson; and his siblings, Buddy Adkins, Sr., Linda Marie Hall, Shirley Jane Martin and Perlina "Polly" Hancock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Sue Spencer, Donna Gail Lawson and Amanda Adkins Chavez (Robin Lynn Funk); his grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Spencer, Andres Javier Mota, Samantha Jazmin Mota, Daryl Lee Harmon, Jr., Austin Taylor Harmon, Dusty Lane Funk, Colton Gage Funk and Tegan Rheign Funk; and his sisters, Mary Frances Ingram and Faye Linkous.
Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the chapel.
