She was predeceased by: her parent Grayden Bennett; her husband John Clarkson Briggs; and her stepfather Leonard Skeen. She is survived by: her parent Margaret Violet Young Bennett; her daughters, Debbie Post, Bobby Post of Lowgap and Cathy Briggs of Randleman; her grandchildren, Michael Shipwash of High Point, John Skeen of Atlanta, GA and Jessica Post of Lowgap; her great grandchildren, Martesia Shipwash and Savannah Shipwash; her great great grandchild Aydin Rich of High Point; and her siblings, Ginger Bennett Deckard of High Point and R. J. Bennett of Greensboro.
