He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Jeremy Hughes (Jackie) of Great Falls, VA and Meghan Wingerter (Daryle) of Haymarket, VA; his stepchildren, Sheri Atkins of Farmville, VA and Brian Atkins (Karen) of Farmville, VA; his grandchildren, Brody Hughes, Taylor Miller, Jaydin Miller of Great Falls, VA, Eve Wingerter, Mack Wingerter of Haymarket, VA, Olivia Gordon, Cole Atkins, Thomas Atkins, Mary Page Atkins and Blake Tharpe of Farmville, VA; his great grandchild Dakota Tharpe of Farmville, VA; his siblings, Kathy Linkous of Morgantown, WV and Matt (Tammy) of Roswell, GA; his uncle Jim Hughes (Peg) of Abingdon, VA; and his close friend Hank Kim (Leah) of Farmville, VA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
