He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Scott and Annice Foley Scott; and his siblings, Brewster Luther Scott, Eunice Scott Synan, Richard Lee Scott, Arnold Lewis Scott, Phyllis Scott Hanchey and Wilbur Akers Scott.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cecil Scott of Stuart, Elliott Scott (Debra) of Penhook, Virginia and Elaine Scott of Rocky Mount, Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Hanchey of Stuart, Virginia, Arlene Harris Scott of Stuart, Jeanette Williams Scott of Stuart and Naomi Scott of Red Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
