It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joyce of Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Joyce to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Alex Joyce and Georgia Lawson Joyce; his brothers, Lawrence Joyce and Larry Joyce; and his half-brothers, Claude Joyce, Glenn Joyce and Swanson Joyce.

He is survived by: his children, James Kevin Joyce (Diana) of Radford, Amanda Joyce Cassell (Dewayne) of Meadows and Bradley Alex Joyce (Rene) of Stuart; and his grandchildren, Reagan Joyce, Dalton Joyce, Hayden Joyce and Lilly Joyce.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Patrick County Chapter, P.O. Box 1301, Stuart, VA 24171.
