He is survived by: his wife Christina Elizabeth Hughes Layman; his children, Peggy Layman Lankford of Claudville, VA and James Richard Layman of Stuart, VA; his grandchildren, Aaron Blake Lankford and Jamie Nicholas Lankford; his brother Ronnie; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Lawson of Stuart, VA, Rachel and Jerry Love of Claudville; and his close friends, Ed, Wyonna Scott of Florida and Landon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
