He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Elmer Pendleton and Annie Fain Pendleton; his wife Ann Puckett Pendleton; his children, Lynn (Jonathan Wilson), Sarah (Doyle Jordan) and John A. Pendleton, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Angie of Sandy Ridge, NC; his grandchildren, Aaron Moore (James), Travis Jordan (Stacie) and Sydney Wilson; his great grandchildren, Cole Coffey, Delia Jordan, Taylor Jordan and Caitlyn Moore; his siblings, Geneva Crawford of Burlington, NC, Gladys Ann (Dave Hayhurst) and Joel; and his sister-in-law Betty Pendleton of Roanoke.
