She is survived by: her sister Nettie Clifton Turman of Floyd, VA; her sons, Jerry Gilbert (Cindy) of Surfside Beach, SC and Shannon Gilbert (Melanie) of Ridgeway, VA.; and her grandchildren, Amanda Gilbert Wright of Mt and Austin Gilbert of Ridgeway, VA..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Plasters Family Cemetery Fund.
