He is survived by: his son Kenneth "Kenny" Johnson; his stepchildren, Teshia Smith, Curtis Lee Slate and Michael Rilee Slate; his grandchildren, Kenneth and McKenzie; his great grandchild Haigen Sawyer Dozier Johnson; his mother-in-law Hassie Jarrell; his friend Louie Medina; and his siblings, Wayne and Catherine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
