She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Franklin Goard; and her son Darryl Fain. She is survived by: her daughter Elva Caldwell of Winston-Salem; and her sisters, Judy Mabe of Patrick Springs, Susan Overby of Stuart and Betty Smith of Stuart. She is also survived by six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
