She was predeceased by: her parents, William James "Jim" Moss and Minnie Goad Moss; and her siblings, Dewey Moss, Wade Morse and Mary Lou Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Warren Blackard (Lorrie) of Chocowinity, NC and Marcia Cox (Neil) of Claudville; her grandchildren, Ryan Blackard (Samantha) of Alton, NH, Jamie Blackard of Chocowinity, NC, Troy Cox of Claudville and Tristan Cox of Claudville; her great grandchildren, Rayn Blackard of Alton, NH and Reed Blackard of Alton, NH; and her sister-in-law Warnders Blackard of Stuart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
