He is survived by: his wife Eva Haden Vaughn; his children, Tim Vaughn of Martinsville and Sharon Vaughn of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Claire Vaughn and Matthew Vaughn; his great grandchild Liam Arthur; his siblings, Jane Lawson of Richmond, Herman Vaughn of Stuart, Cotton Vaughn of Collinsville and Leon Vaughn of Stuart; Misty Smith of Martinsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
