He was predeceased by: his grandson Logan Douglas Cummings; and his brother Jerry Wayne Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Foley Cummings; his children, Norman Cummings, Jr. (Angie), Doss Allen Cummings (Melissa), Matthew Douglas Cummings (Katy) and Susan Cummings Heath (Mark); his grandchildren, Cummings III, Whitney Cummings Cassell, Hunter Doss Cummings, Cole Allen Cummings, Autumn Rae Heath, Will Allan Heath and Evan Matthew Cummings; his great grandchildren, Jameson Ellis Lawson, Josephine Cummings and Jourdyn Rae Cassell; his sister-in-law Shirley Pack Royall; and his niece Jeannie Cummings Harding (Mark).
