He is survived by: his wife Shirley Martin Pendleton; his sons-in-law, Susan P., Mark Hopkins of Westminster, Angela P. and Kevin Phelon of Glen Allen; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hopkins, Collin Hopkins, Kelsey Phelon and Kaitlin Phelon.
