She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Spence and Jenny Holt Spence; her husband Jessie Light; and her siblings, George, Bronzie, Curtis Spence, Mildred Spence and Ann Austin.
She is survived by: her son Larry Garland; her daughter-in-law Christy Light of Patrick Springs; her daughter Alma Lou Willard of Stuart; and her granddaughters, Emily Light and Alyssa Light. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
