With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline V. Moore of Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Via and Rosa Bell Via; her husband Elder James Moore; her daughter Wanda Lee DeShazo; and her siblings, Chephus, Clinton, James "Gene" Via, Vera Ball and Cornellia Garnes.
She is survived by: her sons, Jesse "Wayne" DeShazo (Patsy) of Rocky Mount, Gentry Via (Sally) of South Carolina, Veraine Randolph (William) of Martinsville and Quinton Via of Martinsville; and her sister Christian McAlister of Martinsville. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to COVID a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.
