He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Walter and Rachel Melinda White Vernon. He is survived by: his wife Sonya A. Vernon; his stepsons, Bradley Reece Anthony and David William Glidewell; and his brothers, Mark (Pam Vernon), Ken (Melissa Vernon), Jerry (Sonya Vernon), Randy (Frances Vernon) and Mike (Mitzi Vernon). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; sisters.
