She was predeceased by: her parents, Buren Clyde Pendleton and Dorothy Boyd Pendleton; her husband Dallas York Lyon; her sons, Michael Lyon and Vernon Lyon; her sisters, Vivian Carter and Carrie Lee Young; and her son-in-law Junior Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Maurice (Mo); her daughter-in-law Pat Lyon; her daughters, Carol Taylor of Stuart, Dianne (Eddie Hunt) of Stuart and Betty Jane "BJ" Stowe of Stuart; her grandchildren, Scott Taylor (Susan), Nickie Hodges (Jerry), Melissa Stowe, Ashley Harris (Nate), Allison Lyon, Emily Hunt, Olivia Hunt and Molly Hunt; and her sisters, Laura Ferguson, Lora Wall, Nannie Lou Kessler and Thelma Young. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
