He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Paul Gibson, Sr. and Anna Marie Kmetz Gibson; his grandson Bryson Waters; his siblings, Emma Jean Nixon, Kevin Gibson, Karen K. Gibson and Michael Kmetz; and his stepmother Bernice M. Gibson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Plumley (Ed), Elizabeth Mors (Jeff), Katherine Foster (Mark) and Jennifer Waters (Tim); his grandchildren, Amanda (Abel), Kaitlynn (CJ), Sarah (Adam), Carson, Jaxson and Wade; his great grandchildren, Lawson, Landan and Natalie; his siblings, Kim Robinette (Kelly) and Joey Gibson; and the mother of his children Karen C. Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parr Funeral Home and Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery (1421 Kings Fork Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
