He was predeceased by: his parent Valorous Leroy Spencer. He is survived by: his parent Jean Yates Spencer; his children, Beverly Hamlin and Gregory Spencer; his grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Dylan and Tyler; his brother James Spencer; and his sibling's children, Larry Spencer and Connie Ballentine.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
