Julien Carlton Picot Jr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julien Carlton Picot Jr. (Suffolk, Virginia), born in South Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Julien Carlton and Eulah D. Picot; his wife Sharon Jean C. Picot; and his son Chip Picot. He is survived by: his friend Dr. Pinchbeck; his children, Dean Picot (Gina) of Greenville, NC and Renee P. Gilman (Doug) of Midlothian, VA; his daughter-in-law Tracia Howell of Chuckatuck, VA; his grandchildren, Tara, Chelsea, Gaby, Chandler, Kristen, Jared and Sharon Marie; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Chole and Chip.

Due to coronavirus, the family will have a graveside service on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Holly Lawn Cemetery at 1 PM. We request that all participants social distancing and wear face coverings.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Sharon & Chip Picot Scholarship Fund at the Suffolk Art League, P.O. Box 1086 Suffolk, VA 23434.
