It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Creed Barnes of Swords Creek, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father George; and his siblings, Leslie Barnes, Randy Barnes, James Barnes, Stella Casey and Georgia Harris.

He is survived by : his siblings, George Barnes (Barbara) of Baptist Valley, VA, Brenda Royal, Treace Ball (T. T.), Stevie Carty and Bugs Carty; and his pet Fred. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; two special friends.

As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Commonwealth of Virginia Mandate, only 25 people are allowed at one time in the funeral home. Facial coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
