It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Kyle Hess (Swords Creek, Virginia), who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis Hess and Ida Stevens Hess; his wife Maedean Hess; his sons, Kyle Hess, Jr. and Garry Hess; his son-in-law Wayne Ratliff; and his siblings, Jettie Dye, Renia Perkins, Venia Hubbard, Ruth Hubbard, Albert Hess, Carl Hess, Jack Hess, Clarence Hess and Dingus Hess.

He is survived by : his children, Darrell Hess (Vickie) of Blackford, Diana Richardson (Avery "Sandy") of Richlands and Lisha Hart; and his sisters, Mavis Hubbard and Goldie Dye. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
