He is survived by : his wife Sandra Lynn Hale; his children, Kelly Ratliff (Lance) of Abingdon, Steven Hale (Whittney) of Haysi, Daniel Hale of Swords Creek, Pop Pop, LJ, Korey, Abigail Ratliff and Brylee Hale; his siblings, Kathy (Andrew Smith) of Cleveland, Roger (Lisa Hale) of Richlands and Jeff Hale of Abingdon; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Hale of Blackford and Lisa (Roger Bouldin) of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
