She was predeceased by : her parents, William Moore and Rosie Miller Moore of Swords Creek, VA.; her husband Elmer Dye; and her sons-in-law, Joseph Tabb and Fred Blankenship.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Tabb, Bonita Lawson (Arthur), Mary Lynn Blankenship of Swords Creek, VA, Bobby Joe Dye (Judy) of Low Gap, N. C and Bill Dye (Robin). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
