It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Jean Boyd (Swords Creek, Virginia), born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Peggy Wilson Addison of Richlands and Earl Addison, Jr.; her husband Iles Pastel "Cap" Boyd; her brothers, David, Jim and Jerry Addison; her children, April Boyd Rahn (Jason) of Swords Creek, Virginia. and Marcus Alan Boyd (Heather) of Richlands, Virginia.; her siblings, Becky Louise Jackson of Cedar Bluff, Virginia. and Bobby Wayne Addison (Sherri) of Richlands, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Taylor Shanae Rahn, Jonathan Blake Boyd, Kiya Brooke Rahn, Cameron Charles Boyd and Benjamin McKinley Rahn. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and additional friends.

In accordance to the Commonwealth of Virginia's current regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, only 10 individuals will be allowed inside the funeral home at a time.
