She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Miller and Lola Hale Miller; her former life partner Danny; her husband Manley Maxfield; her daughter Greta Byrd; her granddaughter Michelle Street; and her brothers, Palmer Miler, James "Hob" Miller and Russell Miller.
She is survived by : her children, Rita Rose, Shearl Austin (Gary) of Council, Pam Boyd (Danny) of Honaker, Rev. Scotty Maxfield (Linda) of Richlands, Ruth Lowe (David) of Shortt's Gap and Clovia "Sissy" Lawson (Bill) of Raven; her siblings, Janice Rose, Nancy Byrd, Della Baldwin (Paul), Delmer Miller, Elmer "Diddle" Miller (Jean), Steve Miller, Charlie Miller (Phyllis) and Annis Byrd; her granddaughters, Kayla Yates (Cody) and Julia Amber Grimmett (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Landon Yates, Riley Yates, Greyson Yates, Blakely Yates, Haleigh Grimmett, Alexis Grimmett and Aubrey Grimmett. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
