It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ellen Elswick Noakes of Tazewell, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Lee Elswick and Edna Mullins Elswick; and her sons, David Kenneth Elswick, Timothy Elswick and Brian Elswick.

She is survived by : her daughter Angie Elswick of North Tazewell, VA; her sisters, Wanda Cheek of Texas and Ann Rash of Martinsville, VA.; her grandsons, Brandon Jackson and T. J. Gilbert (Ashlee); and her great grandchildren, Ada Tate and Mia Gilbert.
