She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Thomas "Shorty" and Louise Elswick Brown; her husband Rodney "Chip" Blevins; her sister Mary Ellen Brown; and her grandparents, Joe E., Margaret Herald Brown, J. H. and Nannie Patrick Elswick.

She is survived by : her daughter Crystal Gayle Artis Bowman of Tazewell, VA.; her granddaughters, Alexis Paige of Tazewell, VA, Whitney Laine of Tazewell, VA and Faith Abigail Bowman of Tazewell, VA; her siblings, Margaret Elaine Johnston (Andrew) of Fredericksburg, VA, Howard Thomas "Tom" Brown (Sue) of Tazewell, VA, Jack "Roger" Brown (Judy) of Tazewell, VA and Daniel Brown (Debby) of Tazewell, VA; and her sister-in-law Marietta Helmandollar of Tazewell, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Due to the Corona / COVID 19 pandemic, the family will have a graveside service for Mrs. Blevins at 2:00 p. m. Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with the Reverend Rodney Lawson officiating.
