She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Brewster, Sr. and Iantha M. Whitt Brewster. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Phillips; her sons, Greg Money (Karen) and Brian Phillips (Stephoney); her siblings, Lynn Snapp and James Brewster Jr.; her granddaughter Maddi Rasnick (Gregory); her nieces, Stacy Rose and Lindsay Smith; her pets, Lucky, Ginger, Tom and Katie; her siblings, Donna Hope Keen, Bessie Roland, Mary Francis Honaker, William Lee Brewster, Connie Cundiff of Tazewell, VA and Phyllis Sanderson of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kendra Dooley and Kasey Frith; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Dooley, Riley Christman and Carter Christman. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home of Tazewell (870 W Main St, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family finds comfort in donations being made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
