She was predeceased by : her parents, Orvin Nelson and Mary Whitt Nelson; her husband John Y. Whitt, Jr. (Donnie); and her siblings, Willis, Clayton, Dewey, Leslie Nelson, Beulah Nelson and Betty Young.

She is survived by : her siblings, June Crawford (Bob) of Cincinnati, OH, Violet Fisher (Ted), Everett Nelson, Charlie Nelson (Leona) and Homer Nelson (Nancy). She is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
