Katherine Arthur Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Arthur of Troutville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Katherine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katherine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Cecil "J. C." Arthur; her daughter-in-law Dana Arthur (Roy); and her sister Priscilla Elaine Lee. She is survived by: her children, James Curtis Arthur (Debbie), Roy Lee Arthur, June Arthur Damewood (Michael), Rebecca Lynn Arthur and Joseph Wayne Arthur; and her sister Rosalie Darlene Cochran. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's East Chapel (5188 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
